About Germain

Delivering an exceptional experience one customer at a time since 1947.

Our History

A Message from Steve Germain

In 1947, Henry Ford approached his personal accountant, Warren Germain, about opening one of the first Mercury dealerships in Ohio, and Warren agreed to open Bexley Mercury on Main Street. More than 75 years and four generations of family leadership later, we’re proud to represent 20 iconic manufacturers with locations throughout Ohio, Florida, Michigan, Arizona, and Montana.

While a lot has changed since 1947, we continue to deliver an exceptional automotive sales and ownership experience, one customer at a time. We’re committed to making Germain a place where more than 1,000 associates can grow both personally and professionally. From our sales consultants to service technicians, to brand ambassadors and beyond, we’re all united behind a common mission.

I’m grateful to witness our family business thrive under the fourth generation of leadership. It’s heartening to see my children fortify our enduring partnerships with the communities, brands, and partners that have been pivotal to our success.

Whether you’re in the market for a new vehicle, interested in partnering with us, or simply want to discover more about the Germain Family of Companies, I deeply appreciate your consideration and trust in our family.

The Fourth Generation of Germain Family Leadership

Zach Germain
As the CEO of Germain Motor Company, Zach Germain embodies a passion for motorsports, automotive retail, and family—a legacy he is dedicated to carrying into the fifth generation of family leadership. A Miami University graduate, Zach initially embraced the adrenaline of racing, competing for two years with Germain Racing in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East.

Transitioning from the racetrack to retail, Zach made significant strides, initially working in various management positions at Toyota of Sarasota before launching Germain INFINITI of Easton in 2013. He later became the General Manager of Germain Lexus of Naples. Over an impressive 8-year tenure, he not only oversaw record sales but also led the dealership to achieve multiple Elite of Lexus awards, highlighting his commitment to excellence.

Zach actively contributes to shaping the future of the automotive industry through various leadership positions. He serves on the Dealer Council for the Toyota Cincinnati Region, and is a TDA Board Member. Furthermore, Zach’s engagement with the Lexus brand extends to his role on the Dealer Council for the Lexus Southern Area, and his participation in the Lexus Guest Experience Dealer Advisory Committee.

Zach’s personal life is anchored by his wife, Jonna, and their daughter, Sofia.

Jessica Germain
Jessica Germain is currently the Vice President of Germain Motor Company, overseeing accounting, legal, and personnel development departments. She also serves as Treasurer and board member of the American International Automotive Dealer Association.

Her first role in automotive was starring in commercials with her father, starting at age 3. After graduating from the University of Michigan in 2004, she sold new cars at Germain Lexus. Her journey then expanded into the legal field, graduating from Capital University Law School, and practicing corporate law for several years.

Jessica returned to her roots, taking on the role of General Manager at Honda of Dublin. Under her leadership, the store ranked within the top 3 largest new car volume Honda dealers in the zone and top 3 largest certified pre-owned Honda dealers in the nation. She is also an alumnus of the NADA Dealer Academy. Jessica and her husband Jeff’s driving force, their “why”, is the 5th generation of Germain retailers: Beaux, Stevie, Ryder, and Sloane.

Austin Germain
Austin Germain currently serves as the General Manager of Mercedes-Benz of Easton. He opened Jaguar Land Rover of Easton in 2018, which he quickly developed into a national leader in Certified Pre-Owned sales and customer satisfaction.

A Miami University graduate of 2014, Austin’s journey in the automotive industry is marked by innovative leadership and a strong business acumen, particularly within luxury automotive brands. He also serves on the board of directors for Autotool.

Beyond his professional realm, Austin is deeply passionate about hunting, vintage cars, woodworking, and cherishing moments with his wife, Lauren.
